Recently, I have been receiving spam comments, most of them are links to different "for adult" products and "for adult only" sites. I have been offered female viagra (I didn't know there's such a thing) and some of its alternatives, sleeping pills, insulin needles, etc., etc. So I've been thinking where on earth do those spammers get the idea that I need those products and I need to visit those sites? I believe I have not written anything lewd or something like that anywhere in this blog.
My decision to change my interface is due to those spam comments. I had to do away with my photo as the image header. Maybe those spammers think I am advertising myself LOL. I wish they would think of better things to do than annoy bloggers like me. Good thing I can manage the comments on my blog entries or else I'll go nuts.
Mabuhey, mahal na reyna!
Yeah, it’s inconsiderate for some people to be plugging their adult websites through others’ blogs.
tsk, tsk, mahirap nga iyang mag-input ng IP addresses one by one pero sabi nga nila, patience is a virtue hekhekhek. So isipin mo lang, sa dami ng IP addresses na yan, virtuous person ka na pagkatapos mo mag-input hahaha.
The password requirement comes automatically with my blog, courtesy po iyan ng i.ph. Naisip ko na nga dati na lumipat ng ibang host pero suportahan ko muna kahit paano ang mga kabataang Pinoy na nasa likod ng i.ph baka sakaling may maging Bill Gates din sa kanila
. Harinawa.
Tita Bea,
I have the same problem: http://ofwcenter.com/?cat=53
I get bombarded by all these adult websites. I’m glad my webhost has the IP Deny Manager, kaso, I have to enter IP addresses one by one. Can you imagine? I don’t care, but this one that you did requiring password would do it.
