Bad morning.
*Typhoon Glenda is still around.
*I was waiting for a cab then came a heavy downpour plus strong wind. I had an umbrella but it was no match to the outburst from up above. A cab arrived after almost half an hour. I arrived in the office with wet uniform and shoes. Wa poise.
* To my embarrassment, I noticed that I was wearing the wrong uniform for the day. Oh, it's only Tuesday pala. I was wearing the uniform for Wednesday. Wow, mali! Was I thinking about watching CSI when I awoke this morning? Because Wednesdays to me are synonymous to CSI
*I am not feeling okay. I'm having a hard time getting started at work.
*But I have to push myself because there's a much difficult work to do today.
Concentrate, Bea, concentrate.
(Will post again at noon.)
==============================
Good noon.
* From the window near my table, I could see that the sun is trying to smile.
* I'm feeling a li'l better.
* I got a hug.
* I got a very thoughtful text message from a friend I haven't seen for a long time.
* I had a hearty lunch.
(Will post again this afternoon)
==============================
Bad afternoon.
* Typhoon Glenda foiled Brother Sun's attempt to smile and spread warmth in many places in Luzon. Lalong lumakas ang ulan.
* Heavy rains flooded the street in front of our office.
* The HR department announced at 4:30 that employees may go home…but the only way out is already flooded.
* A truck got stranded in the middle of the flooded street. Poor truck. Poor driver.
* I ran out of celphone load just when I needed it the most.
(Will post again before I go home tonight.)
==============================
Good evening.
* Mighty heaven has stopped its outburst.
* The flood has subsided. There's a vehicle to take us to the nearest jeepney stop.
* I can go home (sa wakas!).
* I got a text message from Nanay.
* I visited the blog of a very nice online friend and saw that this humble blog o' mine is in her trail of blogs to visit. (I will have to ask permission first if I can insert her link here.) I feel honored. Salamat sa iyo, kaibigang Daisy!
Good night, everyone! I've always believed in happy endings
