Just recently, I brought Nemo to the barbershop, ay grooming salon pala, for a regular hot oil treatment. This time, the groomer suggested that Nemo sport a new look, a “puppy cut.” If we, humans, have “gupit siyete,” dogs have “puppy cut.” It was a good suggestion because these days Nemo is left alone at home during daytime and sometimes he plays too much with his toys and his coat tangles. A short coat means less trouble for him…and for me, too. Because with his long hair, sometimes it takes almost an hour to comb his coat and tie the heavy furnishings on his head. So Nemo’s long coat was cropped. Now, at 4 years old, he looks like a 4-month-old shihtzu pup.

Here he is with his favorite groomer. (I said favorite because Nemo seems to like him more than the other groomer )

Nemo’s coat is not the only thing that sometimes worries me. There were times in the past when I had to work for a few days out of town. Good thing I have my sister to leave him with. But what if my sister also has an out of town trip? Maybe I’ll be left with no other choice than send Nemo to a boarding house. Yup, there’s such a thing as dog boarding. I know of only one boarding place for dogs near our place. It has friendly vets. In the US, dog boarding is a big business. Dogs are left in airy and spacious suites that come complete with lambskin bedding and daily maid service. They are given undivided personal attention and lots of petting, of course. What a treat. I guess if Nemo would get to experience these luxuries, he won’t mind anymore my being away from him for a few days. Baka hindi na niya ako pansinin pagbalik ko hehehe.

awww ang cute naman talaga ni Nemo at super behave pa sya…nakakatuwa!

eto na naman po kami! naalala ko na naman si trixie ko.

ako taga gupit ni trixie. sa akin lang sya nagpapagupit ng kuko. pero saan ba yang groomer mo? este ni nemo pala? dapat meron kang photo nya nung after na grooming para makita rin namin ang style na gupit nya.

thanks, REBECCA, yeah, super behave siya kapag nasa groomer. he likes it there lalo na kapag nililiguan siya. kahit naman sa bahay kapag paliliguan na siya, mauuna pa siya na pumasok sa bathroom hehehe. have a great day!

hello, TINA. salamat. yes, i have to bring him to the groomer, kahit magastos, kasi hindi ko talaga matutuhan na gupitan siya eh. baka makalbo ko hehehe

DIWA, uy sumilip ka pala. salamat ha! maliit lang yang doggie na yan. parang puppy lang. he’s a princess type kaya he’s much smaller than the other shihtzus. minsan, akala ng iba puppy pa siya.

ATE KIWI, sorry po kung bigla mong na-miss si trixie. kumusta na pala siya? saka si mama mo? yang kuha na yan ni nemo with a groomer ay sa animal house. marami silang branches sa metro manila. meron sila sa banawe corner del monte sa quezon city. meron din sa loob ng festival mall. di lang grooming meron sa animal house. complete ang services nila doon. may vets, feeds, pet accessories, etc.. meron pa nga silang cremation services na may kasama pang urn for the pet’s ashes. o, di ba?

hokey ah.. magkano ang pa-groom? dyan na lang ako magpa-groom kaya mas mura kaysa sa parlor? hahaha!!!

naks! wala naman akong masabi sa site mo. new template na naman. hindi ka busy eh, ano? ako nga rin, paki palitan template ko. summer na summer na dito eh naka-winter pa rin template ko.

hay ATE KIWI, mas mahal pa sa tao ang pa-groom ng doggie hehehe. kung kaya ko nga lang gawin, ako na lang. (sssshhh..wag ka maingay ha, truth is, sinubukan ko na. tapos yung feet ni nemo, nagmukhang paa ng muebles yung design hehehe. hindi ko na inulit.)

about the new layout, natuwa lang ako bigla when i saw pwede akong maglagay ng pics sa itaas tapos yung theme ay parang luma. e tamang-tama po na may friend ako na nagrequest na ibalik ko yung picture kong nasa bintana hehehe. so naisip ko, mukhang bagay yun sa layout na ito, kaya heto, bagong layout na.

I guess so,if your dog enjoy the place and care.I heard about this dog boarding house where you can leave your dog for a few days or depending on your time need.It’s just a bit costly if more often.
