One Na!

Yan na ang edad ng blog ko. My blog turned a year old last April 28. Happy birthday, dear blog! At dahil isang taon na ang blog ko, nag-celebrate ako. Kaya ako nawala noong weekend. Lumarga ako at dito nag-celebrate ng birthday ng blog ko……

What a way to celebrate my blog's birthday hahaha. Kidding lang, uy. Baka maniwala nga kayong iyan ang dahilan ng pagpunta ko sa Boracay. Pero pwede na rin hahaha. Kasi malaki na ang utang na loob ko dito sa blog na ito eh. Pinatawa na ako nito, pinaiyak sa tuwa. Napa-tumbling sa mga kalokohang komento ng ilang dumadaan dito. Maraming reason para mag-celebrate ako ng birthday ng blog na ito. Nakakatuwa ang blogging experience ko. I learn a lot about people from visiting blogs. I've come to realize na si Juan ay si Juan at si Pedro at si Pedro at si Pedro ay hindi pwedeng maging si Juan at si Juan ay hindi maging si Pedro. Malinaw ba? hahahaha. Tapos, nag-sign up ako sa b2p at kumita ng isang milyon! Kidding. Joke lang, ikaw naman, ang bilis mong maniwala hehehe.

Ang pinakamahalagang reason ay ang mga kaibigan na nakilala ko dahil dito.

(Pasok ang makabagbag-damdaming background music na parang sa "Lovingly Yours, Helen." Hmnp, sige na, sige na, papalitan ko na. Alam ko 'yung iba sa inyo "Maalaala Mo Kaya" o kaya'y "Magpakailanman" na ang gusto.)

Ang unang tao na nag-comment sa blog ko ay ang mabait na si dazeee. She commented on my post about my trip to Bohol. That was almost a year ago. Dalawa lang kaming nagpapalitan ng pagbisita sa mga blog namin noon. Tuwang-tuwa ako tuwing bumibisita sa blog niya kasi palagi akong nagugutom hahaha. Marami kasing pagkain sa blog niya. Hanggang ngayon, we still visit each other's blog. She sent me this from Europe. Dazeee inspired me to go on blogging and meeting other people through blogging because of her kind heart. Through dazeee, I met another mabait na blogger, si carey.

Then another blogger, missy, from Singapore, stumbled upon my blog and left a comment. After I answered her comment, I received a long email from her. Nagkwento siya about her life and her travel to other parts of the world, and asked for an address where she could send stuff plus another long mail. I replied through snail mail and sent her some simple stuff which she told me she was interested in. Sadly, after she sent me a package, I didn't hear from her since then. No more updates in her blog from then on. The last thing she told me was she was going on a trip to India and will be emailing me as soon as she get back to Singapore. She never did. I'm praying she got back to Singapore safe and sound, and hoping one day she will stop by my blog again.

May mga pailan-ilang bloghoppers na dumadalaw sa blog ko at nagkomento sa chat box. Tapos, pinupuntahan ko ang mga blog nila, curious lang ako kung sino ang napapadpad sa blog ko. Kasusunod ko sa mga links, napunta ako sa iba-ibang blog. Ang iba pa nga ay blog din ng waray na tulad ko, tulad ni diane at ni ate darlene. Tapos may mga nakilala rin akong mga Bisdak (Bisaya) blogger. Naligaw din ako sa blog ni ate kiwi at naaliw sa mga kwento ng buhay niya.

I also met Shakira, a blogger from South Africa. I appreciate very much her effort in making tags for me which I use in sending some emails. Yesterday, I received two envelopes full of goodies from her. So sweet. Thanks, Shakira.

Last Monday, I finally had a chance to meet Cecile, Ross and JC in the real world. Nakilala ko sila sa blog ni Inang. Dati, sa blog lang kami ni Inang nag-uusap-usap. Ngayon, sa phone na at sa email at sa messenger. Kasama rin sa mga unang nakilala ko sa blog ni Inang sina Chuva, Diwa at Kuta. Silang tatlo ay nasa bayan ni Uncle Sam. Our group is a mixture of characters. Masaya ang pagkakaibigan. May lalim. Seryoso (kahit na madalas puro kalokohan ang palitan namin ng komento). Kahit magkakalayo, kahit sa email at YM at phone lang, marami-rami na rin naman kaming pinagsamahan hindi lang sa saya at kalokohan. Please click here for some pics of our first EB. Masaya ang mag-blog. Masayang isipin na may mga tao sa ibang dako na nagtitiyagang basahin ang post ko, kahit na gaano pa ito kawalang katuturan minsan. At lalong masayang isipin na bumibisita kayo at binibigyan ako ng panahon kahit hindi ninyo ako personal na kakilala. Bukod sa mga nabanggit ko sa itaas, gusto kong magpasalamat kay abby, ate agring, cai, ate carlota, celena, chikai, diane, ate emie, gandhee, germs, ate lanie, lhadymitch, ate melanie, misyel, ate rebecca, tina, at ate viki. Salamat din sa iba pang mga bumisita at sa mga bibisita pa. I hope we all continue to learn more things through blogging and to enjoy each other's company in the blogosphere.

One year down. I wonder what year two will bring.

masaya din ako kasi nakatagpo ako ng bagong kapamilya dito sa blogosphere. dati kasi sa mga forums lang ako. sana mameet ko rin kayo minsan.

Happy one year!! Sana binaggit mo nun nag meet tayo para nag dala ako ng baloons!!

Almost 3 in the morning na..kakauwi ko lang and sa sandaling time na and2 ako sa WWW, inisip kong bisitahin blog mo…buti na lang I did…kasi anniv mo pala sa blogosphere.

I’m glad I met you in person…sa loob pala ng balingkinitang mong katawan ay naglalaman ng mala universe na kaisipan at maka paraisong kabutihan!

It’s nice meeting you and talking to you on the phone. Cute mo pala! One of these days, mega-eyeball us also. It’s gonna happen this year when am gonna be home as well.

It’s really nice to blog. Ako, it’s my way to release every grrrrrr in my brains else baka nga mag-explode and in so doing, i didn’t realize that i would meet a lot of people.

hey ate kiwi, sorry po pero di ko po alam kung ano ang tinutukoy mong na-edit. i remember asking my cousin to delete a copy of this post because she noticed na na-doble ang pag-post, plus nakalitaw raw ang html codes ng dalawang photos here. so i asked her to delete na lang but that was after i asked her kung may nag-comment ba doon o wala. sabi naman niya, wala raw. i had no access to a computer yesterday so i had to ask my cousin.

sorry ate kung may comment ka doon. siguro hindi napansin ng pinsan ko. sorry talaga, ate. i’m sad because i won’t be able to read yung sinasabi mong comment na na-edit/na-delete

uyyy bea, thanks for the mention. lurker ako sa blog mo noon pa. later na lang ako naglakasloob mag comment, kasi bago rin ako sa blogging nun. hehehe… magkasunod lang pala blog bday natin…mine was last month. you know, hindi ko na nga na-change yung blog title mo sa links ko, you had it as the “happy, simple blog” kasi yun ang feeling ko everytime i drop by here. lighthearted yung mga posts pero nakaka-inspire din.

btw, ang ganda nung sandcastle.
