Yesterday's book launch at the CCP was a success. Thank you, God.
I'd like to share some pictures.

This year's National Children's Book Day's theme is "Basa Tayo, 'Tay."

That's Manolo Silayan, a pioneer of Alitaptap Storytellers Philippines, sharing a story with the guests. Yep, he's the brother of the late actress, Chat Silayan.
Among the PBBY guests were:

CCP Artistic Director Nanding Josef. If he looks familiar to you, that's because he is also a stage and movie actor.

Critic, columnist, and book writer Butch Dalisay.

Yes, that's Magsaysay awardee Cecile Guidote-Alvarez, choosing which book to take home, I guess lol. She ended up taking home a set of my babies–all twelve of them
After the event, my friends and I headed to Gerry's Grill in Harbour Square for lunch.
Dami yummy food

Smile lang ng smile, GOO, OJ and Acey, heheh.

Looks like Panch, Ateneo professor and an award-winning illustrator, is having a great time. Beside her is her friend, Marvin, a designer.
Wait, hinahanap ninyo ako 'no? Aminin! heheh
Shy ako ipakita ang mga pictures ko kasi may pimples ako eh lol.
Pero sige, pagbibigyan ko kayo
.

Ayan ako heheh, with Eugene na meron ng walong Palanca Awards: Wil, a U.P. professor of children's literature, and Genaro, another Palanca awardee.
I would like to thank the people who have worked with me in the past few days, kahit nakakapagod. I would also like to thank the people who have prayed for me and wished me luck. Maraming salamat po! I am now preparing for another book launch in August, hopefully it will coincide with the Manila International Bookfair.
